College students’ college dorm parties are one of the highlights of their school years. It’s different from having a good time at a college party to having a good time in high school. For students and their parents, college without those activities is impossible. Parental treasures and student treasures are great ways to create lasting memories during college.
If not right away, you will probably attend your first party once you arrive on campus. After you no longer live with your parents, you may feel like you’ve won the independence lottery. Yet freedom is not as simple as it seems. Since you are now responsible for yourself on a regular basis, you should address some legitimate concerns regarding college-level partying. Here’s how to organize the perfect first few college dorm parties.
Take a group trip whenever possible
There’s no better way to understand the power of numbers than at your first few school parties. You do not have to bring the entire tribe if you can’t bring a few friends. It is a good idea to stay in touch with your group frequently. The number of students attending a college party can be high, making the atmosphere crowded and stressful. If all of you plan to stay in contact before entering the area, then you will remain in touch.
Establish a designated risk manager within the company
An experienced risk manager should be present at the meeting. As a designer, you have the same responsibilities as a designated driver, except that you have general responsibility for the group’s wellbeing. If someone has been drinking too much or needs assistance, the DRM can assist them in returning to the dorm. Nonetheless, other members of the group are still responsible for what they have done. DRMSs are not babysitters, but friends who care for you.
Each event should have a designated risk manager rotating so that no single individual remains responsible for all risks. The risk manager shouldn’t be taken advantage of. While students don’t take drugs, they enjoy spending time with their friends and taking care of one another so that they can build a sense of community and friendship without taking advantage of them. If you need a break from them, or if you want to take one for yourself, there is no harm in allowing them to do so.
In addition, express your appreciation to your friend for ensuring your safety above and beyond their duties. Consider giving them a small gift or inviting them to dinner to show your appreciation for their efforts to ensure your safety and well-being.
Maintaining your own supply of alcohol is a good idea
Since some college parties charge cover fees that include alcohol, it’s a good idea to bring your own. Those who cannot be present to receive your drink can have it poured near them. Make sure that you drink responsibly. It is also important that you are aware of what is in your drinks, in addition to these other responsibilities. If you are sitting in a line of partygoers, and someone is pouring beer from a keg in front of you, then it goes without saying what is going on. It may be a problem if one is offered mixed drinks in a private room if one doesn’t have any prior experience with mixers.
One last thing to remember is that if you lose a drink, you should not look for it. Unless you have had the object in your hands, it is impossible to make a decision about where it has been. Any memory of the previous evening can be erased by dumping something into an unattended drink. Always keep your drink within sight of you at all times and never take a drink from a stranger. While the season is very similar to Halloween, fewer Snickers are being given out to children.
When you are charging your phone, keep it near the charger
If you text your friends or go partying, your phone’s battery may drain. This is most likely to happen in the evening. Keep every option available to you because you’ll want to leave at some point. Due to unforeseen circumstances, you may need to take an Uber or LYFT to get back to your dorm. The time and location of the meeting is important, but if things don’t work out, you might have to take an Uber home.
Make the right decision
Alcohol is not required to be consumed by partygoers at parties, nor are they required to drink alcohol at parties. A police officer will eventually arrive, so you should prepare yourself for that. When he or she arrives, don’t panic. This has probably happened hundreds of times before. I have noticed the same thing happens every time. Try not to get upset and stay calm.
If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable in such a situation, it is important to tell someone right away. Such situations require your tribe’s support. In the event that you’ve been drinking all night, you might end up in a difficult situation where you need help. Do not hesitate to reach out to someone for help.
